Internet World Discount Campaign
Munich, 16 March 2015 – On 24 and 25 March 2015 Internet World, Europe’s leading e-commerce trade fair, will take place in Munich. The trade fair will be accompanied by a convention, which this year will be titled “The future of e-commerce”.
On 24 March from 10:15 to 10:45, trade fair visitors can meet the Managing Director and founder of lingoking, Nils Mahler, in person at Internet World. Mr Mahler will give a speech in Hall B1 on the subject of “crowd funding”. Afterwards there will be a discussion and a Q & A.
For this occasion lingoking is offering all customers a 5% discount on the translation and localisation of websites. A multilingual internet presence lends businesses a decided competitive advantage, it increases traffic and with it, internationally generated sales. The discount campaign starts immediately and ends 31 March 2015.
According to a study by the American market research institute Common Sense Advisory ("Can't Read, Won't Buy - Why Language Matters on Global Websites"), just under 53% of users only make purchases on websites available in their native language, even if they understand the other respective foreign language. More than 88% of users with little knowledge of English even only browse the web on websites in their own language.
