lingoking among finalists at CODE_n Award presentation
Hannover, 8 March 2012 – This year too, the expert panel of the CODE_n Award, as part of CeBIT, proceeded in its global search for the most exciting innovation in IT and the Web. Under the motto "Shaping Mobile Life", the 50 finalists, who had to present their business idea, were nominated at the founder competition from over 400 young IT enterprises. Besides the Munich start-up lingoking, BillMi, Caramelized, crossculture academy, dayview, ID-enter, map my story, NameRobot, Reposito and the eBook People were also in the Top 50. This year's winner was the Hamburg start-up Intelligent Apps with the taxi-call app "myTaxi" which was awarded prize money of 25,000 euros.
The initiative CODE_n stands for "Code of the New" and was initiated and established in 2011 by Ulrich Dietz, CEO and chairman of the board of GFT Technologies AG. The community behind CODE_n targets enterprises with innovative technologies and services for the areas of mobility, energy, health and finances.
